While the world offers peace, it is false peace and will not last. Jesus offers true peace, peace that is present no matter the circumstance.

Our tendency when we sin is to run from God. We think that we need to clean ourselves up before we can turn to Him. However, to be restored, we must first confess and return to Him. He is the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls.

We need to be honest with ourselves about our potential to wander from the truth, and we also need to lovingly look out for others.
